Beginners Rock Climbing
Aimed at those with little or no experience, our popular beginner rock-climbing courses are run over a 2 day weekend in Dalkey.
The course costs just €180pp/weekend non-residential, payable in advance. The highest quality instruction is guaranteed.
All equipment rental, hardware, ropes, harnesses and helmets, are included, you may however like to bring along your own rock shoes if you have them but they are not essential.
The course is ideal for people who have no/some rock climbing experience and would like to learn how to climb safely.
Our Syllabus includes: Equipment overview, safety, knots, anchors, ropework, system setup, belaying, technique, bouldering & spotting, problem solving & avoidance, guidebooks, the environment, the Mountaineering Council of Ireland best practice.
