Hike across the iconic hills of Lofoten with views stretching over mountains, islands and the ocean.
Picked up from the airport at Narvik on the evening of Sunday 18th June by private coach for transfer to our base on Lofoten for an evening welcome snack and to settle in.
Brunch Monday morning includes a briefing on the first of our planned hikes. Once we’ve made a packed lunch, we’ll grab our packs to stretch the legs on a moderate hike. Gaining our first views over this breath-taking archipelago.
Make sure you pack your togs because we’ll begin every subsequent morning with a revitalising dip before our breakfast.
We will mark the solstice itself with an evening hike to have dinner on the summit of a nearby peak and share a toast before retracing our steps back to base.
After a rest day where you are free to explore the locale yourself – maybe try your hand at kayaking – we will hit the hills for another 2 days of fabulous scenic hiking in the self-proclaimed ‘world’s most beautiful islands’.

Everyone will have concerns about their fitness and how they compare with the rest of the group. This is one reason we always have a training/get-to-know you day in Wicklow. Once we see how everyone operates on the hill, we can plan the hiking days better and advise you on further training if needed.
