This part of Norway receives a lot of snow. Temperatures range from -10 to +5, windchill will obviously bring that temperature down again. A lot of the ground we are on is exposed to the elements.
No, the highest peaks in this part of Norway are about 2,000m.
They are only a problem if we can’t read the ground and heed the warnings. Avoiding avalanches will be a big part of this course.
High camp will be located next to a high mountain refuge where we have access to basic toilet and shower facilities. We will be in a sheltered valley but the nights will still be cool.
Flights, you can arrange these yourself or we can have our travel partner. The extra kit as per the kit list. If you’re missing anything we can advise on how to best purchase, any extra tours etc. Any extra tours that participants choose to take outside of the Expedition Skills Course. You fly to Oslo and we transport you from there to our base for the week.
